Dagat-Dagatan Elementary School, as its name suggests, is known as a school by the overflowing sea. It is called such because during rainy days and high tides, the school can be seen amidst the water. This school site is located somewhere in between the southern parts of Navotas and Malabon, to be exact, in Barangay Northbay Boulevard South, Block 35, Lot 90, Phase II Area 2, Kaunlaran Village, Navotas City, Metro Manila.   Currently (SY 2023-2024), the school has 137 teaching personnel caring for 4,279 pupils from kindergarten to elementary, SPED pupils, and 3 non-teaching personnel under the direct administration of Dr. Sonia M. Padernal, the current school principal IV.
